great for those who spend more time in their car
I really like this, the scent picks up as you drive, and stops when you aren't using the car. I will say this may be a downside to some. I have a long commute. These take a little to heat up. It is possible that those who primarily make short quick trips may not be in long enough. They might be better off with a different style.

Terrible product
I love Yankee Candles but they need to stay out of the car air freshener market. Can't smell this thing at all. Best air freshener for your car....get your favorite Yankee Candle, place it in your car but do not light it. As the car heats up when you are away, the wax slowly melts and produces the perfect amount of fragrance for the car. Want extra freshening? Light the candle and let if burn for about 30 minutes before you leave. A candle will last for months doing this!

Just bought a new car plug in, and am not sure how to start it. Took lid off...should the white liner inside come out? Then does the candle come out of the little black case and if so, how? Call me dumb, but if I'm asking, I'll bet others are too.

All you need to do is unscrew the cap, and remove the scent refill from its packaging. Before you plug it in, switch the intensity switch to your preferred strength. There should be a little blue light indicator to let you know it's on and working!
