No scent
I received two of these and immediately noticed that they had virtually no scent. I contacted customer service, and they replaced them with the cardboard version, which was an improvement.

My all time favorite Yankee Candle scent!!
I wish Yankee Candle carried this fragrance all the time. I stock up every time I find this scent available and always have one hanging in my car. I don't know how they did it, but Yankee Candle was able to capture the smell of real leather so perfectly, but they did. Genuine leather has always been one of my favorite smells and I have tried so many companies variations of the scent, but none of them have ever matched the perfectly captured true leather smell like Yankee Candle has. Every time I get in my car I can't help but take a deep breath of that new leather smell. It's exactly like the real thing!!

Headache Inducing
The scent of this car freshener is without a doubt leather and I enjoy having it in my car because I have leather seats. The scent does give me headaches after driving for a while or on a hot day where it is pungent

You should probably avoid this one...
So last night the wife and I go to Kohl's for an Amazon return. While there we do a little browsing. I come across the car air fresheners and think...I like good smells I should get one. I look through the selection and see the Yankee Candle Leather scent. I think...I love the smell of supple leather. I'm going to get this one. We make our purchases and go out to the car. I open up my new scent eagerly wondering how it will smell. The second I open it I get wafted by the smell of a dirty, heavily used ashtray mixed with the faint smell stale alcohol. Basically if you have ever worked at a bar and cleaned out ashtrays at the end of the night you will know what smell I am describing. I am not sure who works in the "Smells" department at Yankee Candle but that is not in anyway what leather should smell like. My recommendation...avoid this one by any means possible.

Doesn’t work
I bought the leather car jars for years, they never let me down. I’ve bought three of these, they simply don’t smell (unless you put your nose up to it) not buying anymore. Bring back the car jar, please!!

Cardboard better
I’m not sure why Yankee wouldn’t sell the scent “leather” in the cardboard jar when everyone on this thread agrees that the cardboard jar smelled stronger and lasted longer than vent clip or the little plastic jar? Part of offering feedback is to heed the customers’ advice. I’m hoping to see the cardboard ones back in stores soon. It’s not like the scent has been retired or the cardboard jars aren’t made any longer!! Makes no sense.

Short lived.
The fragrance was very good out of the package. It didn’t last more than two days. I have a new suv and haven’t been driving much since I work from home. I finally had an errand and both my husband and I couldn’t spell the freshener after I recently put it in.

PLEASE BRING BACK IN PAPERBOARD!!!
The Leather is my favorite car scent by Yankee but this version in ther plastic jars do not smell and clearly I'm not the only one who feels this way! Please bring back this scent in PAPERBOARD where the smell was much stronger and awesome! I'm very disappointed I can't buy my favorite scent anymore, because this plastic one is not worth it at all!

I can't find them in the store anymore, so had been ordering them online. The plastic ones are OK, but the scent isn't nearly as strong. I will be so disappointed if they're no longer available. I have used them for years and get so many compliments about how great my car smells.
