Just wish it was stronger :( Yankee Candle continues to amaze, as the lime essence in this is indeed that of Kaffir lime, which is distinctly different from other limes. It’s a lush but fresh mouth-watering lime, tempered masterfully by creamy vanilla. It reminds me of a lime hard candy. Yet it isn’t an overly sweet scent. We have a store room where the only small window doesn’t open very far, and that room can get horribly stuffy. The Vanilla Lime candle, after letting it burn for about an hour, really lightened the atmosphere in that room, and made it feel a lot fresher. The only thing is, is this candle doesn’t put out a lot of scent. My favorite Yankee Candle is Pineapple Cilantro (you must try this candle- it’s divine!) which, as soon as you light it, instantly starts filling the air with scent. So the performance of other Yankee Candle scents are measured by the performance of Pineapple Cilantro, and sadly, like this one, they don’t compare. However the scent of the Vanilla Lime candle definitely is exquisite. I really love it, and so I am left wishing it put out more fragrance. For someone looking for a light, uplifting citrus scent that is not sharp, I 100% recommend Vanilla Lime.
