Rated 5 out of 5 by from Berry lovers- rejoice! Our family used to go to a restaurant that served something called a Linzer torte. It’s a delicious Austrian dessert, with a sweetened crunchy bottom crust made with almonds, then a layer of raspberry filling, and topped with lattice made with the almond crust. They served it warm, with whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream. Linzer torte is actually pretty easy to make, but it feels like a really “fancy” dessert. The smell of this candle reminds me of the scent of a freshly-baked Linzer torte: sweet, warm raspberries that make your mouth positively water, combined with vanilla and other notes that conjure the scent that something irresistible is in the oven. If you love raspberry, or red berries, of any kind, this Merry Berry candle is a must! It puts out a lot of scent- which I LOVE- and fills a room within moments of being lit with a sweet, something-yummy-with-berries-is-baking fragrance. It’s a scent everyone seems to like, too. This candle also reminds me of the warm berry filling inside of a jelly donut. Picture walking by a not yet open donut shop. Their ovens are full of trays of raspberry-filled jelly donuts. You have to stop and take sniff after sniff of this delightful fragrance. Merry Berry makes the room smell like this. Merry Berry doesn’t just smell like raspberries- the scent really is like a dessert. There are other great notes mixed in: a whiff of citrus, other red berries, and a touch of vanilla, like the fragrance of baking sugar cookies. I’m still new to Yankee Candles, so I don’t know if Merry Berry is a seasonal scent. Regardless- whenever it’s available- I’m going to stock up on this sweet, juicy, berry-licious candle!

I'm sooo excited - I have a niece who's nickname is "Mary-Berry, & I got this for her - she's gonna love it if I can just get it to her - we haven't been having many "get togethers" since COVID - guess I'm gonna have to break down & mail it - wish I had thought to just have you guys mail it to her!! Anyway, THANKS as always for your Super products, & spectacular service!!
