Instead, it's leaning towards a sweet/spicy scent on top that leads to almost an overpowering amber based scent. Still, it's not a bad scent overall. You don't need to burn it for very long to fill the house with the scent. It's not unpleasant though...

Balsam & Cedar is to an all-out classic tree with all the lights and trimmings - as this one is to a simple Scandi tree, later planted in the garden. It's a cozy, homey scent. I burn it in the kitchen and in my study; Balsam & Cedar goes in the living room. I love YC's Fall candles, but no so much the Christmas ones. I'll stick to these two, Cinnamon Vanilla and Holiday Zest.
