Its more of a warm caramel scent. Wasn't overpowered, but we burned it in a big space. Definitely not a good scent to have in a small space - it would definitely be too much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No, no, and more no! When I lit this, my son asked, "What smells so bad?" The scent was overpowering. It was rich and coffee/chocolate-like. After about 30 minutes, it just made the whole house smell almost like burnt chocolate/coffee. It made us all nauseous.

It actually gave me a headache after burning it a while and I had to put it out. I'm very surprised and disappointed by this. I usually only buy candles I've smelled in person, but it sounded so good I took a shot. It did not even smell good when I took the lid off. I should have not lit it and returned it to a store.

While this one is a good scent, and is very "warm," I would say that it isn't my favorite of the Yankee Candle scents. I have tried few of their candles. 1st time trying this Cozy Cabin Escape candle. It truly has an amazing scent & key notes. Vanilla bean, caramel, almonds, pecans, toasted marshmallow, so warm & delicious! Makes me feel like i'm sitting by campfire toasting marshmallows with chocolate, so yummy! It has strong scent & throw. I know when this candle runs out, that i will be getting another one if it's on sale, cause i love this scent! I love vanilla bean, caramel & marshmallow with almonds & pecans! Love, love this scent! So if u are like myself & love the scent of caramel, vanilla bean, pecans, almonds & toasted marshmallow, then u will love this scent, that has amazing notes & throw, that smells amazing!

I don't have a lot of experience with Yankee Candles but that will definitely be changing after this candle. I've been so impressed how well the scent carries without being overpowering. It's just perfect! The candle burns evenly, it doesn't leave any residue and I find the jar decorative enough to sit out even when I'm not using the candle but yet it's not flashy or gaudy.

The smell has a baked goods sweet smell without making me hungry. Makes me feel like fall and fall baking. The candle burned evenly and nice as well.

The sweet, spicy musk fragrance of toasted pecans, vanilla bean and caramel reminds me of bonfires, baking and fall nights. The large iconic signature jar is a beautifully designed jar that has two-wicks for even burning and made with premium quality wax. I incorporated this gorgeous candle jar into a holiday table centerpiece I created for my dining room table. I will most definitely be buying this scent again and I am in love with these beautiful jars, they last long and fill my entire house with the amazing scent. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed this candle so much. I feel like any man or woman would enjoy this. Great size and value. During the winter I look for candles to help remind us of all the fun we have and know that it will be here soon. And then I came across the cozy cabin escape scent. Oh. My. Gosh. This has everything that I could possibly ask for and makes me feel like I am sitting fireside. It has hints of toasted marshmallow and caramel, and reminds the kids slightly of toasting s’mores (without being overwhelming. It also has hints of outside and makes me think of the sunset. I am absolutely loving this scent!
