Hairspray?
Lilac Blossoms used to be a favorite. However, the last few years there has been a strong, unpleasant element in the scent I couldn't put my finger on. A visitor said she thought it smelled like that infamous hair spray. That's exactly it. To me, it's a lovely lilac scent with strong overtones of aerosol hairspray. The Tulip scent (red color) had the same problem.

This product is really the best
this product had a wonderful springtime lilac scent took me back to when I was a child and mom had a lilac bush right outside our back door. The smell was all through my house when I was burning the candles. Highly recommend it, as always , Yankee Candles are the best. Been buying them for 20 years

Wonderful Scent
I live in Florida and Lilacs will not grow here and they are my favorite flower, to be able to have the scent of lilacs in my home just pleases me so much. I have bought many of your scent warmers, both for myself and for gifts, and I just love the wax melts, they are so easy.

The best scent in the whole list!
Lilac blossoms is probably the truest, most lasting scent among all the great ones you have. The scent remains until the very last flicker of the candle. I just put two of these in sconces and they filled the room with the scent of fresh cut lilacs. The votives last a long time, and burn with no waste.

Light, natural scent
I have 24 lilac bushes/trees around my house, and this candle is the exact replica of the common lilac. I miss it's perfume when it's not in bloom, so this candle brings up the softness of spring in the PNW when I light it in the winter!

Love it!
I believe this has to be my favorite scent from Yankee. I absolutely love lilacs and I've always had a lilac bush wherever I lived. It definitely brings back memories of my Mother picking lilacs off her tree and arranging them in a vase to put in our dining room. The whole house smelled so fresh and clean. Thanks, Yankee!!

A rare floral exception for me.
I typically shy away from floral scents, finding their perfume to heady for my nose, but Lilac Blossoms is very true-to-scent, and I always indulge in a single votive size (more than enough throw for my sensitive nose), because it reminds me of my childhood springs and the huge lilac bush in my grandparents' yard.

the product filled all my expectations.

Light For Spring!
During one of the sales on votive candles, I just knew I had to have this one for spring. I love lilacs as they bring back memories of the huge lilac trees next to my grandmother's house. In fact, the whole neighborhood seemed to have them. This candle is a pretty good recreation of that scent. It's not a green and flowery scent, but more powdery, almost like a lilac soap. It is still a lovely scent though. It also has a decent through for such a tiny candle. Just enough for my small den.

This is my favorite scent and it is perfect for bedrooms
When I smelled this candle in stores, I was desperate to buy it but the prices kept me from doing so. I instead bought the sampler and it was exactly as I thought. It is a strong floral scent with a relaxing appeal. I light it for a few minutes before I go to bed. If you like floral scents, then I recommend this to you.

MY FAVORITE SCENT THAT CAN BE USED IN ANY ROOM
Love, love, love the lilac blossom votives & tarts & hope YC NEVER retires this scent. We have lilacs in our garden & this is as close as ever to the real deal. I have used this scent in every room of our home at one time or another. Had a couple votives of lilac blossoms burning in our sunroom one day when a contractor came by for an issue in the sunroom. He said the room smelled great & asked where the flowers were! I told him they were candles burning & he literally didn't believe me until I pointed them out. He asked where we got them as he was sure his wife would love them-gave him the website name & hopefully he went home & is now a customer. This scent is refreshing, flowery & really perfect for any room. If you like the smell of lilacs, you'll want to at least try this.

just right for my bedroom
This is a most wonderful little candle. The scent goes throughout my bedroom. I use the large candle for the rest of the house and the votive is sufficient for my room. I just love this lilac fragrance and please continue this fragrance so I can continue to buy more. I love it so much I have a small stock pile, but when I run out I want it to still be there so I can continue to enjoy this lovely scent.

Love the smell of spring!
I enjoy florals all year round, and this one is no exception. It's strong scent is particularly perfect for spring, though. Don't let the fact that this is a little votive fool you, either - it has a good throw and fills up even a large room with this lovely scent.

A true spring fragrance!
Lilac Blossoms is like cutting a bouquet of lilacs from a lilac tree and bringing it indoors to enjoy its wonderfully intoxicating fragrance. It's a wonderful reminder of the spring season. I will continue to buy these candles as long as Yankee Candle continues to make them!
