Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pumpkin pie apple cider This is a great fall candle, kind of your generic fall spice scent and I don’t mean that negatively, just that it’s nothing extremely original but the type of scent a lot of people would enjoy. It’s not too spicy, foodie, sweet or fruity, it’s a nicely balanced blend of all. To me it’s like an apple cider candle combined with a pumpkin pie candle. There’s a nice pumpkin spice blend of spices and a bit of bakery notes, but not too much to make it sickeningly sweet or buttery like some foodie scents. I notice the apple a bit more than the pumpkin, which is just fine for me as I’m not a huge fan of pumpkin. And the pumpkin notes are baked pumpkin which I think helps mellow it out. Like most of the YC votives I’ve tried, the throw is really impressive for such a small candle. I didn’t expect to like this scent but I would repurchase in a larger size.
