It is so much better than plain citronella, and if it works as well on keeping bugs at bay as does plain citronella, than I am sure I will enjoy it for many patio/outdoor meals.

Sadly that company no longer exists. When Yankee brought this concept to their outdoor candles, we were so excited. Thanks, Yankee Candle!

I honestly don’t know if it really helps with the mosquitos but the harsh citronella smell helps set the evening patio atmosphere. This lemongrass version make it much more appealing.

I burned it on my Florida porch and the black smoke coming off the wicks will likely stain my white ceiling - so, no more on the Florida porch - outside it is fine. Would not purchase again.

My favorite feature is that it stays lit even with strong ocean breezes— something we’ve had trouble finding over the years. I just ordered two more to have on hand; however I don’t think I’m going to need them for a while because this candle has a nice slow burn rate. Highly recommend!
