Description
To enjoy your candles to their fullest, a certain amount of care is required. Keeping their wicks trimmed properly will help your candles burn fully and last longer. Specifically, your candle's wick should be trimmed after every 4 hours of burn time. Let the candle come to room temperature, then trim the wick to 1/8-inch before relighting. That length helps create complete combustion, which means less soot is formed while the candle is burning. This is where our Perfect Wick Trimmer comes in - place the bottom of the trimmer flush with the candle surface, rock the trimmer back so that its "elbow" rests on the surface, this keeps the trimmer at a 45-degree angle and helps ensure the cut is to the proper length. Simple! Enjoy your candles and their fragrances, then repeat again after every 4 hours of burn time.

I’m going to start by saying that I used candles for many years & never knew I was supposed to cut the wick before each use. My candles never burned properly so I always had tons of wasted wax left in the containers. When I finally learned about trimming the wick I tried to cut them with scissors & nail clippers. The nail clippers are okay but only work when the candles are new. Scissors are just not great.
About the cutter… I am totally in love with this tool!! It’s so simple yet so totally awesome!!! It’s long so it reaches down into the deepest candle jars & it holds the wick cuttings so it’s easy to throw them away. They are attractive so leaving them out on the counter or a shelf isn't a big deal & it comes in different finishes so there should be something for everyone.
I don’t know if the fragrance is any better or stronger because of it but it is supposed help with that also.
I would 100% recommend this to anybody that is a candle lover or to add to a gift or gift set. đź’™

Aesthetic and useful!
These are so cute for not only its usefulness but decor as well. I learned that it’s important to cut the wick a tad so you don’t get the burnt wick mixed in your candle. I think it also helps with no black smoke and large flames.

A must for candle lovers
I bought 2 of these a month ago so I could have them in different rooms. They are durable and trim wicks perfectly especially when the wick is further down in the jar versus struggling with scissors and cutting the wick too short. Highly recommend!

Everyone must have a wick trimmer!!
I never had a wick trimmer before and so glad I bought one on the advise of the saleswoman. Trimming the wick definitely prolongs the life of the candle and it reduces the amount of smoke when I snuff it out. This is one purchase that will probably last forever!! If you don’t have a wick trimmer, you have gotta get one.
