I've only had mine for a couple months so no rust or fading. The piece is sturdy, it's not flimsy at all. It really is a beautiful piece and bigger than I expected.

What size candles work best? Is there something inside to catch melted wax? How is it best to clean this?

<div class="bvseo-answer" data-answerid="2880970">
&quot;Tea Light&quot; candles are the smallest size offered and are self-contained in plastic, therefore there is no melted wax in your holder. Use the search bar to find &quot;tea lights&quot; in various fragrances. They burn for up to six hours and once the wick is nearly gone, its flame self-extinguishes. I think that using 5 at once in this display should give a lot of fragrance and look nice with the leaf pattern.
