Upcycling: Mercury Glass Planter

We just love how our friend Cole Williams @coleworlld transformed her empty Yankee Candle^® glass candle jar into a beautiful mercury glass planter!

To create your own, start with a clean, empty candle jar. Mix equal parts water and vinegar in a spray bottle. Using looking glass spray paint, coat the inside of your jar. About 60 seconds later, while the paint is still fresh and wet, spray your water and vinegar mixture over the paint. Pat the drips to create your final design. Allow to completely dry, and then plant the flower of your choice inside. Enjoy!
