Not like Yankee...
Ever since I got my first wax warmer, I have tried literally dozens of Yankee Candle melts. This is the only one thus far that I found to be useless, for lack of a better word. I don't mind mild scents with so-so throws, but Island Spa had no scent whatsoever when I unwrapped it, and the only smell I could detect (when the wax was fully melted and my nose was maybe two inches from it) was barely-there lemon like a light Lemon Pledge. If I could have smelled anything, it certainly didn't strike me as “spa-like.” I tried burning it in maybe three-hour intervals over the course of two days then called it quits and threw it out. I won’t be bothering with this one again, whether in a tart or a candle.
Also, another reviewer mentioned a while ago that the wax is transparent with dark blue dye that stains warmers. This was also the case for me, but I don’t mind too much because it blended in with the dappled design of my warmer and eventually scrubbed off, but I wouldn't recommend using this tart if your warmer is white.
I won’t hesitate to continue buying from Yankee though; this is the only tart that I was disappointed in quality-wise.

A really good mix on lemon and verbena! Also goes well with the coconut bay. Yes it really does smell good mixed! This has a strong throw, alot of the citrus comes thru

Lemon, not spa
While this doesn't remind me of a relaxing or soothing spa, I enjoyed it. It has a bright invigorating lemon scent, which surprised me. Not one of my favorites, but I would choose it again. Maybe just change the name?

VERY similar to Citrus Tango
Island Spa is basically Citrus Tango without the grapefruit notes. It doesn't really smell spa-like, at least not like any spa I've ever been to. It does smell very refreshing, but more in a "I've just mopped the floor with citrus cleaner" kind of way. The throw is great, like most citrus scents, but I'm just not a fan of the scent. Go for it if you dislike the grapefruit tones in Citrus Tango.

not my kind of spa
Although this is not an off-putting scent, it is not what one would think of when you think of an island spa. This is more like a weak light lemon scent that really doesn't have a soothing or relaxing feel to it. Not bad but definitely not a repurchase.

Fresh and citrusy
This is one of those scents perfect for bathrom or any room in the house you'd like to smell fresh. Although it's not what I had in mind when I first read the name, it does smell true to the description on the website (which says "the sunny citrus aroma of crisp, juicy mandarins and vibrant lemon verbena"), except in my opinion it's a bit heavy on lemon verbena and I couldn't detect any mandarin scent but rather something very citrusy. Either way, a crisp and fresh scent with strong throw that can easily fill up multiple rooms. Recommended! :-)

Just not a fan of the smell
I can't put a name on it but this smells like a cleaning agent our house keeper uses. I had forgotten I put it on in our bathroom & when I walked in after awhile, I wondered why it smelled so clean, since she had not been in that day. But then I remembered it was my wax melter. While the scent is good, I don't think it smells anything like a spa & it's just not something I want to spend money on for a yankee candle. There are many other scents I would rather have. I'm also finding out that I'm just not a fan of citrus scents, I've tried to like many of them but just haven't found one that I love. (except for Cherry Lemonade which is more sweet than citrusy)
