My thoughtful husband bought me this Vanilla Cupcake as a "just because" present because he knows how much I love the smell of baked goods and love my Yankee Candles. (Yes, he's a keeper!) I was initially hesitant because I worried it would be overly sweet/fake smelling, but it's not. It's just right! It has a decent throw as well. After it's lit for a moment, it produces a a great homey smell - which is wonderful after a long day at work!

Bakery Perfection in a Jar
This scent has been one of my favorites from the time it was first introduced. I have had it in every form but the candle itself is my favorite. It fills the house with the delicious aroma of freshly baked vanilla cupcakes. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants their home to smell warm and inviting.

i am a baker and these smell just as good as my fresh cupcakes!
Beautiful smell, beautiful burn..this candle is just perfection in a jar. I have a huge living space where I lite this candle, vaulted ceilings that lead to my kitchen and it spreads everywhere! I am a picky candle buyer and I love this one!!

Unscented candle???
I bought this candle based on the reviews it received online and I was sooooo excited to try it, now I'm just disappointed. I get nothing from it! There's no scent whatsoever. I don't even smell anything on cold sniff, so I'm greatly disappointed in this scent - I really wanted to experience what everyone else got to experience.

Smells so sweet and delicious!
This candle is one of my favorite candles at YC! The scent is stronger than the French Vanilla and I like a strong candle so it will fill the entire room it's in. Again, another candle from YC that doesn't even need to be lit to fragrance the entire room it is in! I bake as a hobby and this scent is perfect to make my house continually smell like fresh bakes cupcakes and homemade whipped up frosting!

More Like: Scrumptious Vanilla Cupcake
My first encounter with Vanilla Cupcake was Yankee Candle's lip balm. It smelled so much like a fresh vanilla cupcake I purchased the large 2-wick tumbler. This fragrance is so spot-on it makes my mouth water. Looks terrific on my chocolate-brown counter tops. Perfect kitchen candle.

Like walking into a bakery
The odor from this candle is so profound it is if you are taken to the oven room of a bakery. How sweet it is. There is no mistaking that what you smell are roasted vanilla beans. My mouth actually started to salivate upon the igniation of the candle. The emorgulated scent. brought back memories of childhood when mom made cupcakes. We initially intended that the candle be used for pet odor elimination. We have a small Boston Terrier who is rather flatulent-so much so, we named her "Little Baby Flatus"..There were times when Baby Flatus would let loose with one of her eye watering trademark SBD (silent but deadly) eructations that almost made the room. a bio-hazard. However, the Vanilla Cupcake candle effectively neutralizes Baby Flatus's odoriferous surprises.
Once again Yankee Candle comes through with a sensory masterpiece.
