Turkey & Stuffing
Please don't give up making these unusual ambitious scents!
Just the other day my husband said, "How does Yankee Candle keep coming up with SO many new unique scents?" Yankee Candle has become pretty daring lately, that's how! And truthfully I prefer this direction instead of a constant parade of candles that all smell the same.
Last year's SCHNITZEL WITH NOODLE was, for me, a jaw dropping surprise hit. I absolutely love it, and I will burn it on dreary midwinter days when I want to feel snug and safe. It's no gimmick for me. It is a cozy combination of starch, sugar, and lemon. I bought out the store when it was on clearance at my local storefront! (It was only 6 candles, but it sounds impressive when I say it that way.)
But, like the Man Candle MMMM, BACON!, this latest daring attempt at a savory dinnertime aroma, TURKEY AND DRESSING, is strictly a novelty gag.
It smells like a very old microwave dinner. Which means it does achieve *some* startling sense of realism, but just enough to fall short into the Uncanny Valley of fragrance. I burned it for about 15 minutes before I decided I wasnt ever going to enjoy it the way I do SCHNITZEL. I'll use it as decoration and a conversation piece.
Several years ago there was a magnificent scent called GARDEN HERBS or something close, and it was a clever combination of fresh and savory notes. It smelled very much like someone was lovingly preparing a pleasant supper with herbs from the back garden. I wish they would rerelease that, and perhaps use it as a starting point for turning other menu items into a series of mouthwatering, comforting candles.
Chicken noodle soup, yankee pot roast, and a backyard grill, for some examples. You did it with SCHNITZEL WITH NOODLES. You can do it again!
I encourage YC to keep trying these ambitious creations, because there's a wonderful potential. Comfort foods go perfectly with candles!

After reading bad reviews and such on this scent, I HAD to try it for myself..So glad I did..My husband was laughing at me because I sat in the kitchen just raving about this one..It smells just like a turkey had just been removed from the oven..The sage in the stuffing, the yummy scent of a nicely browned turkey..THIS one is a keeper...I am burning Sweet Potato Pie along with Turkey and Stuffing and OH MY!! For those who haven't tried it, grab one, you will be glad you did..HAPPY THANKSGIVING YANKEE!!!

Worst Candle Ever!
This candle has absolutely no resemblance of the aroma of a turkey cooking. The scent given off is that of a mild spice and nothing more. Definitely not worth the twenty some dollars I spent for it ~ I expected more from a company like Yankee Candle. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Too Pretty To Burn!
I LOVE the idea of the Thanksgiving candles! I also love the labels on all 3, very pretty and excellent to display. I should have bought two, one to burn and one to look at, because these are too pretty to burn.
With this one, I get a sage dressing smell with it. Love the color too, another outstanding candle!

Unique scent, but lovely and I'm enjoying immensely!
I'm not sure why everyone is saying that this candle has no scent? My fiance bought this for me as an early Christmas present and I was thrilled. It is a unique scent which maybe is not for everyone. If you're expecting fruit and flowers then you picked the wrong candle. It does smell exactly like turkey and stuffing and is bringing a little holiday cheer to my office! I burn it alternately with the Spiced Pumpkin candle and I am loving it. I can definitely feel the holidays coming! Don't be talked out of trying this one by bad reviews, it is great!

Smells like the holidays!
To me this smells more like Christmas! Its got a warm, sage stuffing tone to it. The only part I'm not thrilled with is that the fragrance isn't very strong. I have to get right up on it to smell its deliciousness. I still think it was worth it :)

Donate your $ towards a REAL turkey & stuffing dinner, please!!!
Seriously, for the price of this candle you can feed your entire family an actual Turkey & Stuffing dinner, which I promise will make your home smell incredible! ~ This candle on the other hand, has ZERO fragrance... absolutely nothing! And I can't figure out where these reviewers who say they DO smell something are getting ANY "scent" from!!? You know, the power of persuasion can do amazing things ~ but for myself & every person who has been in my home while this candle is lit ~ persuasion says this is a plain, clean white fragrance free candle with no label & should cost maybe $5.00, NOT the current price of $27.99 ~ In today's economy that's a lot of money & if you don't want to feed your own family a real turkey & stuffing dinner for this price, please, donate the money and feed a real turkey & stuffing dinner to a hungry family in need! They will appreciate it & trust me; you won't feel like the price of this candle was a complete waste of money!! And if only for one day, someone’s entire home will actually smell like delicious turkey & stuffing!!

Very Light Scent.............
This is the first time I have ever had an unfavorable result with a Yankee Candle scent. The scent smelled fine, however, you could barely smell the scent. I burned the candle for 6 hours in a small room and other than the flckering light of the candle light you would not have known there was a scented candle lite. You had to go directly up on the candle, practically inches away to successfully smell the scent. Good idea Yankee, but not enough scent in this new product.
