Reminds Me of the Forest
I grew up in Upper Michigan, and spent a lot of time playing in the forests that were just a few blocks from my parent's home. I just bought a few more votives in this scent because it smells like the trees of late summer and autumn did. When I burn Treehouse Memories, it feels like I've brought the outside in. I detect some pine scent in this candle, which adds to the realistic scent, in my opinion.

I get the "cologne" comments -- That's why this is SPOT ON!
This candle DOES remind me of the treehouse I hung out in as a young lad. Atop some musty, constantly decomposing piles of leaves and pine needles, our treehouse took on the scents of the forest it was built in, along with the aromas we brought into it. No electricity meant lighting was provided by candles crammed into the spice racks thrown out by the mothers of the neighborhood. That hodgepodge of half burnt down fundraiser candles, mixed with a few bottles of Old Spice and Pinaud Special Reserve we'd sneak in to "Freshen the place up," make this candle such a memory trigger -- it is nuts! I love this candle SO MUCH!

not woodsy or autumn
So there's good and bad. The good is that this candle has amazing throw. Smell it all the way in the bedroom many hours after it's out. Bad is the smell doesn't match the description. IT's not a bad smell, just not outdoorsy or fallish.
I put my votives on a warmer because I think they last longer and no fear of smoke. At first the smell was overpowering of soap. A mix of laundry detergent and bath soap. Not too perfumey, just odd. after a total of 12 hours, the smell changed and Reminds me of Bounce Dryer Sheets. I mean, I thought I had the dryer on. It was faint but still permeated the house.
Overall, I won't buy it again, or I think I won't... Maybe I will. But it definately isn't woodsy at all. If you like clean cotton you'll like this.

Not even close to the description
Supposed to be "earthy" and remind you of autumn days. Not even close! Very odd scent. I saw one reviewer write it reminded her of masculine soap and that's spot on - it reminds me of men's cologne (I thought I was imagining that). When I first took it out of the box, I thought I had been sent the wrong candle. So if you're looking for earthy, autumn leaves, pass this one by.

Smells like soap
I was expecting this to smell more woodsy. However, it just reminded me of a masculine-scented soap. It isn't a bad scent, it's just not what I wanted.

Too perfumey
After reading the scent description, I was expecting a woodsier, spicier scent in this candle. This is a bit spicy, but there's a sweet/perfumey scent that just overpowers it when it's burning. It has a great throw, but this one's not for me.

Wonderful scent, refreshing, a new favorite
This new scent is going to be very successful as it clearly carries a seasonal aroma that gently permeates.

Doesn't remind me of fall
Not sure what I thought these would smell like, but the scent is a little like a man's cologne, not over powering, kinda sweet, mixed with Ivory soap.. My mom has in her room, in the french glass votive holders that were featured during the SAS, she hasn't lit them yet, but her rooms just smells nice.
