Smiley Face RC Flyer
Save Your Money and Frustration
I thought a flying smiling face was a spectacular idea, why limit to the helicopter shape, plus it was a great buy; so I bought eight (8). How embarrassing when you give a gift and it doesn't work. But, lucky me, I have another one in the closet, surely it is limited to the one not working. Nope, after opening four (4), using brand new top of the line batteries, even asking the 17 year old boys who are techno intelligent, we were never able to even get the spinners to spin. It's a shame, I still have four unopened, can't even donate to Goodwill, as that would be simply a disappointment to another child. Just Say No to this product. But I am a sucker for the Yankee Candles and purchase them in abundance.

Great for kids, but dies quickly
we bought 2 of these, and yes they are cute, but the little card you put on the remote (needed for the air to push the ball into the air) falls out easily. I can live with that, however, you charge the ball from the AA batteries in the remote, and for the ball to have enough power to make it fly apparently also drains the remote quicly. As for the ball, WE can only get it to fly with the pad for about 1-2 minutes. Then the battery starts to give in the ball and while the blades still spin, they don't spin fast enough to emit the air necessary to keep it flying. To recharge the ball you need to let it sit on the charger pin for at least 30 minutes. We have charged for as little as 10 and as much as 4 hours and we get the same results when trying to fly. Its been fun and now I just turn on the blades and let it skim across the floor, but if you're looking for something that will last more than a few minutes, neither of the ones I bought have done that. Great deal if you're buying other stuff and paying shipping anyway but don't pay shipping just for this, not worth it.
