I Have My Concerns...
I usually only purchase the ceramic or stonewear type tarts burners but I saw this and it was such a "DEAL" that I purchased it. I have heard from several people to NEVER buy anything mosaic from Yankee Candle because it cracks, breaks or falls apart. Apparently the cement or whatever it is that holds the glass pieces in place doesn't last like the ceramic ones do. Having heard this, I will probably return it to the store. I don't want to take the chance of it breaking and have hot melted wax all over my granite counters. I will be LIVID.

Beautiful addition to decor
This contemporary wax tart melter is very attractive in a modern decor home. It also suits holiday decorating because of its beautiful red and gold mosaic. It is a little more fragile than YCs ceramic melter, but it is also easier to expel the used tart from this holder. I was able to buy three of them on sale for $8 and I have them in different areas of my open floor plan home. I burn 2 - 3 at a time and they create a beautiful glow. Unlike the ceramic melters, this has a clear glass top, so the melted wax appears as a translucent colored pool -- almost mesmerizing. I held back a star for quality only because of its fragility but I highly recommend it.

nice and pretty
I really liked this piece the only downside to it is that the glass is very thin so be very careful especially if you have kids like I do its very pretty u can use it all the time for every day use or for christimas since its great

defect
this has a defect where the bowl where the tart sits and the vase meet is not put together right . it made a crackling like the glass was going to break.

Love the Sparkle
The red and gold really sparkle. With the right color schemes this can be displayed year round. This is also well made.
