Gorgeous!
First of all, the color is exact to the photo. It is large...needs a large area to display it. I have my creme brulee crackling pure radiance large jar in there now. This would make a great fish bowl...a place for plants in water...or full of pine cones and Christmas balls with a little garland and candy canes? You can do a ton of things with this....and it is gorgeous.

beautiful quality
This vase/candleholder is great quality for the price. It is thick glass and a beautiful ruby red. I used it for Valentine's decorating with a tall flameless candle inside. The uses are endless.

Decorative and useful
This is just the right shape for sheilding candlelight in drafty areas and outdoors. The deep ruby red makes it reminiscent of the old fashoned railroad lanterns. It's sturdy, too. I hope this isn't a limited edition that is being discontinued.
