Should have listened to the prior reviews
Let me start by saying I read the reviews on these beads before buying them as I've bought other brands of odor beads before & was a little skeptical about paying this much for them, but knowing I was buying YC this time, I had decided to try them anyway hoping I'd be one of the fortunate ones they worked well for as we've been happy with all our other YC purchases & absolutely love this scent!
I bought them for when we don't want a candle burning or tarts warming, and didn't expect the smell to be anywhere near as strong as either of those conditions. But unfortunately they proved to be as weak as others said. Even my husband, who also likes this scent & can tolerate it with his extremely hightened sense of smell (he can smell EVERYTHING, good and bad, and drives us nuts looking for sources of a smell no one else can even detect what he's saying he smells no matter how hard they try!) couldn't smell these in any of the very small places we tried them in. Noone in our household could smell them unless our nose was on top of the jar, including when they were set on top of a vent to try to warm them & spread the scent for a couple hrs.
I should have listened to the other reviews, very disappointed by these as they're utterly useless for their intended purpose :(

i was disappointed in this product
This is the first product that I have received from Yankee Candle. The fragrance isn't heavy enough in a bathroom setting. I can barely smell the fragrance.

Wheres the wonderful Pineapple Cilantro scent that I love?
This purchase was very disappointing to me. I adore the Pineapple Cilantro scent, but I could only smell it if my nose was right up against the top of the jar. I bought this to put in my (very tiny) bathroom, but after I couldn't smell it at all, I stuck it in my truck at the recommendation of a Yankee Candle employee. Even on a hot day with the windows closed, you couldn't smell it. I really wish this worked. I love Yankee Candle because of the helpfulness and friendliness of the employees and the normally excellent quality of products, but this item is definitely not up to their usual standards. I did notice that some people on here gave it great reviews so I guess this is one of those 'buyer beware' things.

Hiding an odor
I basically bought the Fragrance Spheres to see what they were like, then after a skunk encounter outside our home, the smell of skunk seemed to permeate our basement, so I put the Frangrance Sphere down there and it completely neutralized the skunk odor. I don't know how long it will last, but it is my favorite Yankee Candle scent, Pineapple Cilantro!

Disappointed
I was initially very excited to buy the fragrance spheres in the Pineapple Cilantro because I do love this scent... I am highly disappointed in this scent! I have this in my bathroom, and my bathroom isn't big at all... I always have to hold my nose to it to smell the scent. You can't even smell it in my restroom. The scent in these spheres are very week. I usually love the fragrance spheres but these were very weak and it made me sad.

Not pleased with purchase
I'm a loyal customer of YC, but was disappointed with my fragrance sphere purchase. I purchased both pineapple cilantro and clean cotton. I opened the clean cotton one in a hotel bathroom on a Thursday and by Saturday the fragrance was gone. I opened the pineapple cilantro one in my car on Monday morning and by Thursday I could no longer smell it. I purchase YC monthly and was very disappointed with this purchase.
