Not an easy scent to nail, but they did it!
How Yankee managed to get a banana candle to smell excellent is beyond me. Banana scents are always so fake and chemical-scented. This one is so natural and strong, It is my new favorite! Great job!!! If only you could have gotten Summer Wish to smell this strongly.

Smooth yet exhilarating.
This candle is not for the faint of heart as it does have a strong throw, but personally I think it's fabulous! The scent of banana and vanilla round out the slight bite from the spice and citrus, and all four scents compliment each other very well... kind of like a buttered rum scent with a twist of clove. It soothes yet refreshes at the same time. Definitely a new favorite to burn in my kitchen!

Nice scent, but only in a small room
I bought this along with the Waikiki Melon candles when they first came out at $27.99 per candle. The Melon is fabulous. I was really anticipating burning this Paradise spice, which smells like Malibu rum (yummmy) but i burn one at a time so the Melon came first. After the Melon was finished (and it was really excellent), I lit this one. The throw is minimal which is really too bad because the scent itself is lovely but you'd probably have to burn 10 of them in my bedroom which is 15x10 in order for the room to smell like this candle. In contrast, I had one large tumbler Waikiki Melon burning and my whole bedroom and part of the hallway leading in from the living room really smelled fantastic. The candle burned well, which is a nice change because lately my Yankee Candles are burning terribly. The wicks burn too high, or too low, I trim them to no avail, and they break off and leave large bits of black wick in the candle wax which I abhor. I think if I burned this in my bathroom which is about 5x8, it might have smelled stronger. In my opinion, Yankee Candle isn't using enough of the essential oils in their candles lately. One of my favorites is Strawberry Buttercream. You can see the oil in the candle when it's cold (not burning) - it's literally a pool of oil - and the smell is intense but not overwhelming and it smells like heaven. I find that if there's no pool of oil, the candle is a waste. Some people may like this lighter scent but I could barely smell it and when I asked my husband if he liked the new candle - he said "you're burning a candle"? Now, I know men are oblivious but he's really into candles too (his favorite is Black Cherry) - and he did not smell a thing with this Paradise Spice. Too bad, because it could have been really dreamy. If you were to burn this in a large room (like a living room) be advised that you won't even know it's burning. I bought another one of these (big mistake) when the candles went on sale for "buy one get one free" (this was before I burned the first one, thinking it smelled so good in the tumbler and the Melon was so good, it HAD to be just as good). Big mistake. I've already exchanged it for another Melon at a Yankee Candle store nearby.

Love this Candle
I love this candle and how it smells so sweet and clean at the sametime. It makes my home smell so good. I love the way it burns so smooth and even.

Not very strong
I bought this in the votive to try out before I purchased the large jar and loved the smell so when I purchased the two wick I was very disappointed. I could barely smell it - I seem to be having problems with my two wick large candles they never seem to putout much fragrance. If you like this fragrance I would recommend it in a Large one wick jar or anything smaller.

Surprised it wasn't rated higher
I am really enjoying the two wick tumbler. Smells like banana, pineapple, some sort of spice in nice proportion. The candle is burning well and has a strong throw. I would describe it as warm and yummy.

Not what I expected.....
I love this scent and it is light on banana and I am glad. The only problem I have is after one burn till the end it looks like a dirty glass sitting in my room. I wish I could get a answer why. These r too expensive to be ugly in a center piece.
