Strong But Lovely Scent!
I buy this votive like it wouldn't make my wallet scream. This is my favorite votive for summer because it is a versatile smell and compliments other candles I like to simultaneously burn. It is a very fresh and warm smell and also very strong. When I walk past them from five feet away, I get a whiff--and this is not when they are burning. When they burn, the scent spreads through the entire floor of my house. It smells just like Yankee Candle's description: very fresh, musky, salty air. I don't live on the beach, but where I live, the summer air smells like this candle when it gets hot enough.

Sweet and salty ocean scent
What a great scent! I just started trying YC and I bought Oceanside to try before getting a larger jar. On first
"smell" I loved it. I tried it in a small bathroom and what a blast of fragrance from a small votive! I was pleasantly surprised by this. It does have a bit of a baby powder scent, but that just added to the appeal for me. My 8 yr old daughter said she thought it smells like the salty ocean!

Overly powdery
I love the scent of Beach Flowers and Beach walk as well, so i thought I would try Oceanside. After three minutes of burning the votive, it smelled like a diaper-pail deodorizer. It smelled more like baby talcum powder than a walk by the ocean.

Wonderful Fresh Fragrance

Cool Water perfume in a candle
As this was burning, this smelled just like Cool Water perfume, which is one of my favorites. It has a beachy scent, but not overpowering like some that give me a headache. This votive has a very good throw, too. A nice summer scent.

I love the smell of Yankee's Oceanside! This votive burned well and the scent throw was pretty good!
