One of my newly discovered top faves
I love this scent very much. When I talked to the sales rep about scents that are like the ones I love the most they told me about this one and I am so glad they did! My 2 favorites have been fresh cut grass and and Midsummers Night and with mountain lodge its like they put a cologne scent with a bit of an earthy scent yet clean and crsip. its perfect

Leather and autumn leaves
Mountain Lodge is one of my favorites from Yankee Candle Company. It has a strong leather note, appropriate given the usual decor at a mountain lodge (and yes I do know from personal experience). It also has a lot of sub-notes that can be described as autumnal. Also appropriate given that time of year is usually the height of hunting season, when the lodges are at their busiest.

My Favorite
This is my favorite candle scent- It is woodsy, like taking a walk in the woods on a crisp fall day. I have purchased quite a few tarts and candles in this scent- so far this has been a favorite as well for friends and family. I always make sure I have plenty of these in my yankee candle collection.

Mountain Lodge has become my favorite scent.
The aroma of cedarwood & sage is so lush that it actually scents the room even when it's not lit.

Love it. My wife bought it for me. Reminds me of one of our favorite places, Grand Lake Lodge in Colorado. I can't identify with the cologne comments, but then I don't have any ex-boyfriends.

Get something else!
This candle, honestly, smells like every one of your ex boyfriends all wrapped together in a small cabin, swapping cologne. Only, the cabin is your house, and there is no reason for your house to smell like that many men. It's a confusing scent.
