No smell
First let me say I love Yankee Candles. I never thought I would write a bad review, but this candle is awful. It smells so good in the jar but once lit, no longer emits a scent. If you like lemon, go with the Lemon Lavender - it's wonderful. I should have returned this Meyer Lemon weeks ago - it's just terrible. Disappointing is an understatement.

Not just for the kitchen!
Yankee Candle's Meyer Lemon is not a candle that you burn just in the kitchen. I always thought the lemon scents belonged in the kitchen, especially after a day of cooking. I use it in all the rooms of my home, just to give a nice, refreshing lift to any space! I recommend this scent for everyone, any time of the year. :)

Weak Lemon
When I smelled Meyer Lemon in the jar, it smelled like sweet lemons. After burning this candle for about 5 hours in our living room, I couldn't smell it at all. I then moved it to our half bath and was able to detect more of the fragrance, which, to me, had some waxy tones (?) along with the lemon. I know Yankee Candle makes a wide variety of fragrance strengths ranging from the room fillers, which I love, like: Vineyard, Crème Brûleé, Blueberry Scone and so on, to the lighter fragrances like Honeydew Melon; everyone perceives scents differently. So, if you're sensitive to the stronger scents, you may enjoy Meyer Lemon.

Delightfully Pleasant
I used this candle in my office for weeks and was sorry to see it go. This candle smelled more like a genuine lemon than most other lemon-scented candles. It really pepped me up.

Lemontastic
Great Lemon candle. Some of the fruit scents I find are really quite waxy smelling when they burn but not this one. :)

What Lemon??
The candle produced nothing for me...I burned it for hours. NOTHING..Normally I love lemon scents, but for me this candle did not perform.

not thrilled
I have to tell you I have probably 30 of your large jar candles in many different scents and this one by FAR is the worst quality .. I LOVED your Lemon Zest candles and bought many many of them, when you discontinued it and Myer Lemon came out I was hoping it would be just as nice.. Unfortunately, it just doesn't have much of a scent and as another reviewer said, after the first burn , all you can really smell is the wax, I thought perhaps at first I just got a bad batch and bought a few more, I like to have several spread around my home to burn at the same time.. they also just don't have much of a scent.. I REALLY wish you would bring back Lemon Zest, the scent was strong but not overpowering and stayed fully scented the entire way through... I don't know if you could do a reformulation to make the scent stronger and longer lasting as I DO like the scent itself, just not it's staying power and strength.
