Smell didn't last On my quest for new spring/summer scents I bought several new scents in tart form at my local YC store and I've been burning a new tart every day or so. Tonight's pick was Mango Peach Salsa. To start, my tart was totally crumbled, I mean crushed to bits, when I opened it. Most times when I open a tart it's somewhat crumbly so I always open it over my burner using a small razor knife to carefully cut off the plastic and contain the "crumbs". This time the entire thing was crumbs and carefully cutting it open didn't contain the mess. (Does anyone know why the Yankee tarts are always so crumbly when compared to other brands of tarts/wax melts that are a solid block? I'd just gotten back into the Yankee brand last fall after years of not using tarts but I don't remember them being so crumbly years ago.) Once melted the fragrance was pleasant, fruity and spicy like others have stated, was not perfumey - a quality I don't like as it tends to give me a headache. I can't say anything specifically bad about the smell, but it's not one I'd buy again. Just my personal preference. The scent started out as a medium throw but did not last. After 3 hours the smell faded. I thought maybe I was just used to it and not smelling it anymore, but after going outside for about 20 min and coming back in again the smell was barely noticeable. Spicy! Enjoyed this scent..warmed me up a bit for the summer months that are around the corner! Spicy and full of energy...nice change of pace with the florals.and beachy scents I use so often...will use again for sure! March 1, 2014
Spicy and fruity! Upon cold smell this tart smells mostly of peach and mango. But after melting, the ginger and pink pepper really come through. The peach and mango smell fresh and ripe, like real sliced fruit out on your table. The pink pepper was stronger than I expected and added a spicy kick to the sweet fruit smell. I can detect a slight floral note and it's fresh and soft smelling. Smells like summer to me. I would say the tart is the medium range of throw. January 28, 2014
Extremely aromatic Never thought in a million years that this melt would smell as good as it does. Anxious to mix a Peach melt with it next time around. Another winner for YCC! January 3, 2014
not what i expected with this one i got more of the pink pepper scent than the fruits i didnt get the juicy peachy scent that i expected i onlytried it because of the youtube reviews i saw on it but it wasnt for me ...maybe if they left out the flowers and pink pepper scents i would have enjoyed it more November 6, 2013
Fruity and Sweet This is fruity and sweet with a moderate throw, no "cilantro" scent really, but it is pleasant. September 29, 2013
Mmm Great combination of mango and peach. The fruit smell comes through without being overly sweet. Makes the whole house fragrant . I find this to be a great summer scent. May 24, 2013
Very Peachy! I like this tart with a 'zesty' smell. The mango and peach combined leaves a great smell in my home. April 13, 2013
