Can't wait to see my dad open this!
I bought my dad, the *football coach*, a First Down candle and this ILLUMALID-lid. It couldn't be more perfect for his office, and I bet he'll get lots of compliments :)
Plus I'll explain to him that aside from being a cute detail, the ILLUMALID will help the (already improved) wax burn nice and evenly with a steady flame. Fun AND functional!
He's so hard to shop for, but this unique gift will be a really fun gift to give Christmas Eve. Thank you YC!
Now I suppose I really should mention I haven't gotten to smell the candle yet, as I wait on delivery. I understand it's not a leathery football, grass-and-mud smell, with a hint of autumn air. I tend to wish it was...but whatever it smells like, it's the Yankee Candle + Football concept that screams "From Meg to Dad"!
