I am glad this was only a dollar at the time of purchase, because it did not have any throw after it melted. Unwrapping it out of the package it smelled great, I couldn't wait to burn it. But for some reason the scent was not there at all. I see everyone raving over the Apple Pumpkin, will give that a try. I think I will stick to other fruits and skip the MacIntosh for now.

apples from the orchard
Macintosh is a very fruity fragrance, and smells like you just plucked an apple from the apple tree.
The throw is fantastically amazing for this little guy definitely fills up my 2800 square foot house

It IS the scent of apples, but can do better
This is the scent of apples, but not as good as other apple scents I have tried.

Fallen From Grace.
Lately this scent has taken a nasty turn for me. The quality isn't what it used to be. It seems more blended. Gone are the vivid scents of apple, replaced with vague, sickly warm scents.
I can't put my finger on it, but it's gross now. Not crisp. I'm almost sure they changed the formula or I've just had incredibly bad luck with batches.

Ahhh...the smell of fresh apples
I love Yankee tarts and this is one of my top 3 tarts. It fills my room with the freshness of apples!

Nice But Sweet.
Macintosh is one of the most versatile scents that can truly be used year round. I love it. The tart seems to burn a little sweeter than the candles (or it is just my imagination). This is definitely a good tart to have on hand!
