Smells like fruit punch
This candle reminds me of the fruit punch that you might drink at a baby shower or child's birthday party- the punch with sprite and fruit mixed in it. It is a subtle throw but I can definitely smell it when I'm in the same room. If I leave the room, as soon as I open the door it is very strong. I like it!

Fruity but weak
I agree with the other reviewers on this candle. It is a nice fruity blend of sweet fragrances but over all, this candle has a weak throw and that is not something I expected. I had this lit in my dining room after cooking french fries. After 3 hours, you could still smell the grease but not the candle. It's great in a bedroom or small, confined area, but if you are lighting it for a large room, I would avoid this one because you will be disappointed.

Subtle Citrus Scent
I purchased the Luau Party scent at the Yankee Candle store because I was looking for something different than my usual scent types (stronger scent profiles). This delivers on the citrus promise, but after the first couple of uses, I got no scent from the candle. Were it just the subtly, I would recommend (did with Pineapple Cilantro), because I recognize the scent preference issue, but the loss of scent after a use or two makes the Luau Party scent a miss for me.

Love tropical scents but this was a fail
I love tropical scents and this candle is no exception. Except once you light it, there is no scent. Huge letdown. I have tried it in a few different size spaces and it has zero impact. I won't purchase again.

I was so excitied for this candle
I could not wait for this candle! I miss the old mixed fruit candle and thought this would be close. It smells like a fizzy bubbly fruit punch, tart with a punch. I was a little disappointed when I burned it, the throw was very weak. It seemed like it got stronger half way through. I think I will try this one again, I am hoping something was wrong with the one I got!

Now Where's That Ukelele?
Want to escape the winter doldrums? Tell your friends to dig out those Hawaiian shirts from the back of the closet and get together for a luau (grass skirts optional). This scent brings me back to my Army days when I was stationed in Hawaii. I attended a number of luaus and those were among the best parties ever. Yankee Candle has come up with a winner in the Luau Party scent. It reminds me of all the tropical rum/gin drinks that are popular on the Polynesian scene. You know, the tall colorful drinks garnished with fruit and drunk with straws. This candle has a great throw, but if you're having a party for a large gathering, then feel free to burn two or more. Or, if you're home watching Hawaii Five O on TV with a favorite tropical beverage (Mai Tai?), then a single Luau Party large tumbler will suffice to set the mood.
Thanks, Yankee. You're really good at helping to chase those winter blues away.
