Very Spring/ Summer like candle, goes with anything anywhere. The smell last for a long time. Goes great with a flower candle ring, I use mine on the coffee table for a center piece along with a flower candle shade.

Fresh spring-time floral scent.
My mom's home in Mass. is surrounded by lush white and purple lilac bushes and every spring their fragrance fills the air with such a sweet fragrance. Every breath of Lilac Blossoms takes me home again.

Exactly like fresh lilacs
You cannot buy a candle that smells any closer to its namesake than this one. I hate florals, to be honest, and opt more for the baked-good scents from Yankee. However, this smells exactly like the bushes that grew outside my house growing up. The throw is amazing, it does not give me headaches, and I feel as if it is an amazing value because it fills the whole house and the scent lingers a few hours.
The scent is not powdery, but fresh and green with the light, airy scent of lilac blossoms. If you've passed by a giant blooming lilac blossom, Yankee has jarred that scent for your year-round pleasure. In my top 5.
Change nothing on this candle, Yankee! :-D

Absolutely the BEST Lilac candle EVER
This has an amazing strong scent and only 2 large candles can scent the entire first floor of my home. (over 1k sq ft).
In a small space it may be a bit overpowering although wonderful and relaxing.
