I bought this for my husband's truck. I was pleasantly surprised because it does smell like authentic leather! Both my husband and brother in law liked it. Perfect ideas for birthday gifts! The car jars do not last long, though. Next time there is a sale I'll repurchase but try a car jar ultimate.

Great leather scent.
The scent is wonderful in the car. The scent lasts longer than the gels we have tried. I also use it to restore the leather scent to my purse. (a vinyl purse can smell like leather too).
Unfortunately, this product is no longer available at our local Yankee Candle store and I am not happy paying shipping.

True to its name!!
Bought this for my hubby's SUV, and this one's great!! It smells like a fine leather handbag, belt, etc. He's had it in his vehicle for several weeks, and it still smells wonderful. He hung it in the back seat area, and the whole SUV smells fabulous with this scent. It's not over powering, just pleasant! Sure beats the "man" smell that it smelled like before this!! LOL!!

Horrible scent
I never smelled leather like this and I have had a lot of leather products. This went in the garbage the first day I had it.

REAL LEATHER !
To me, this really smells like leather! My husband, however, says it reminds him of a bag of lawn fertilizer, but I don't get that. I love it and will buy again.

leather long lasting scent perfect for many places besides the car!!!.
I just love the leather car jars, not the one's higher priced in plastic, but the one's that are cardboard. I have been purchasing for years, Also have given many away as gifts, and all of us have found this to be the best product on the market to keep your car smelling clean and NEW.....Thank you Yankee Candle Company...........Sincerely Cathy
