Color Change :-(
I love Yankee Candles and have my favorites. (Clean Cotton. Balsam & Cedar come to mind) I try almost all of the fresh scent candles and some of the fruity ones too and always keep a large supply of candles and tarts on hand. They burn in my house often, and to put it simply, they make me happy! I have never bought a candle that I didn't light before, but I bought this one because the color matched perfectly to the decor in my guest bathroom. Even though I love the fresh lemony smell of this candle, I never lit it. I bought it to display in a glass cabinet in the bathroom. However, the soothing green color of the candle has "faded" from a pretty island green to a dull gray and does not look pretty on display anymore. I thought about lighting it since an employee in one of the Yankee stores told me it would still smell the same, but I tried it with another candle that lost its color and it didn't have nearly as much scent. I don't want to burn it just to waste it. The employee told me it might have been an 'old batch' when I bought it. I wish it was still green as that was the reason I bought it despite the relaxing lemon scent. It's amazing how color and scent can work together to evoke a mood.
PS I would have given this candle the highest of ratings across the board had he color remained the same as it was when I purchased it.

Just like a Spa!
This smell reminds me of this spa I use to go to. I think they had this exact candle actually. It was a small room so it filled the room beautifully and now I found it! Since I have more of an open house it does not fill room as strong but still good. If it was stronger It would be heaven!!! :)

YUCK !
Is it possible to get a defective candle?! This candle is not anything like the other Yankee Candles, it might as well be a dollar store candle. First problem, the picture shows a pretty seafoam candle..FAR from it. I opened it today, so excited to try this one, I was so disappointed..it's like a sea WEED color, a dark, dull, ugly green. So I thought, well hopefully it smells as great as the other reviews...WRONG. The scent does not fill a room, not even a tiny area. And when you get right up to it to smell it, it stinks! This is not the smell described at all. It smells like a bathroom cleaning product,even burns your nose, its horrible. I would take this back to a store if we had a Yankee Candle anywhere near us, but we don't. So Im out $27.99 plus shipping and Im stuck with an ugly, smelly candle. This is the first bad experience I've had with Y.C. I purchase many candles and love all of them..Just NOT this one!

Very Fresh
This fragrance is getting hard to get. I hope it doesn't go into retirement. The is very nice all over the house, but especially in the bathroom. I burn it once-in-awhile in the bath tub away from hanging objects (like the shower curtain). That way I can be sure its safe and it fills the entire bathroom with its fresh Island Spa fragrance. It is especially nice to do before special occassions.

The name says it all...
This candle is absolutely wonderful. I burn it in my room every night before going to bed. I can smell it in the day as I walk by it. I have bought many, many, way too many candles from Yankee, and this is probably my favorite!
