I purchased this though their fundraising catalogue to support my nephew's school.
Note: they send as live root stock (little bundles of roots, not seeds) which need to be planted immediately. They do not say this in the product description on the site, NOR even on the outside package. So, if you don't open it right away and read the instructions you would never know this.
I did however open it the day I got it, read the instructions and realizing it needed to be planted immediately did so. I followed their instruction exactly, and even went online and found some videos for clarification (the instructions were poorly written).
Nothing. The root stock was dried up and dead on arrival. Who knows if it was alive when they sent it and dried up in transit, or was dead when sent. Judging by the other reviews I'm guessing they are all dead in the warehouse.
In summery, this is just expensive compost food. I'm writing their customer service, will update note here with their response (if they respond)

I was so looking forward to fresh strawberries, but this one was no good. Actually bought 2 of them, and neither one grew.

These plants were totally dead and dried up. I tried soaking them for a day and there was no way they were ever going to grow. I threw it away. It wasn't worth it to me to pay to ship it back for return.
