Grapevine & Oak
Burns starts out pleasant, but can become sickly sweet
Grapevine and oaks smells like the name suggests, a sweet grape with a hint of woodsy-ness. I cannot detect any citrus as the description suggest. If there was a citrus note the candle would be complete. The scent throw is great, I can smell it within mins of burning. My only issue with this candle is the longer you burn it the greater the sweet undertone becomes and I find that intolerable at times.

My favorite Yankee Candle Fragrance
This scent is a hidden gem in YC's catalog. This scent is gorgeous: grapvine-like with a title oak thrown in, and it makes the house smell absolutely incredible. I can burn the candle all day long and not get tired of the fragrance. When friends come over, this is the candle I burn and someone always says, "what is that smell???" and they go on and on about how wonderful the scent is. Try it, you'll love it.

Light, yet earthy and outdoorsy, with a hint of sweetness!
I went into Yankee this weekend with two Treasures in mind: Ginger Spice Cookie and Waterfall Canyon. The scent description of both intrigued me and I was convinced I would walk out one (or both!) Unfortunately, neither candle was what I was looking for that day - but Grapevine & Oak was! Great product placement, Yankee! The scent is light, but earthy - in a good way - not an overpowering way. Something about it reminds me of Sage & Citrus, yet it is more delicate. And while it may sound strange, I detect a note that reminds me of a buttery chardonnay. Very pleased I found this one!
Performance-wise, this candle is top notch: great wax pool in a short burn, even burn, with a solid medium throw.

The scent is nice but it needs to be about ten times stronger. Even after buring for a few hours and a good wax pool I could only smell it when I eascdurectly over the candle. Come on Yankee! Up the oil and you'd have a perfect product. Guess I'll go back to bbw. You keep hering this..and I keep reading it.

I do not get grape or oak from this candle; what I get is a sunny woods scent, with strong pine and cedar. There are no detectable florals or other standard "perfumey" scents, just pure warm wood. Unlike other wood scents I've tried, Grapevine and Oak is free of smokey undertones that remind me (unpleasantly) of pipe tobacco. Hooray! I've been burning it for hours at a time.
The throw is medium, capable of scenting the entire first floor, but not the second. If you like wood fragrances, you must try this one. It's the perfect fireplace candle during the summer time.

Someone tell me why I love this, I just don't know.
I bought this candle out of trust for the company. Despite how random this sounds, it actually smells incredible. ! I had a dinner party recently and burned this along side some really nice traditional Italian Music, and I SWEAR it made the linguini taste even better !! LOLLLLL
But on a serious note, this candle doesn't cast a throw, it casts and atmosphere. Wow YC. You did it again.

Grapevine and Oak has become one of my new favorites! This will sound weird, but it makes my home smell like a Pier 1 Imports store, which is a good thing in my book! There's the earthiness of the wood and the sweetness of the fruit, like the mix of the smell of the wood furniture and home fragrances in Pier 1. I'll burn this in one part of my house and Eucalyptus (my all-time favorite) in another part of my house and it smells sooooo good! It has great throw and is a perfect year-round fragrance.

Great smell, very little throw
The smell of Grapevine & Oak is a very unique and nice one, just as described it's woodsy with an undertone of fruit. A very nice smell. Unfortunately, the throw is weak and barely there.
I enjoy very strong throw on my Yankee Candles, this isn't it.
