Fruit Salad
This doesn't smell anything like citronella. Not at all. It smells fruity and a little bit citrusy. It has good throw so, if smelling the candle burning means overwhelming for you- this might not be your scent. I like to smell the expensive candles I'm burning so, I like this one. I don't normally go for fruit fragrances that aren't citrus but I like this one. It's a "warm" fruity smell.

Overwhelming!
Again I looked up the ingredients online, and thought they sounded like a nice combination. Unfortunately, it only smells like citronella to me!

A fruity fragrance
I wasn't sure about this one, but decided to give it a try. I will be adding it to my favorites list. Very pleasant fruit fragrance. Not to sweet...not to strong.

Not what I anticipated
I purchased a large jar based on sniff alone some months ago to save for spring use. To be fair in my remarks, fruity candles are not often among my favorites with a few exceptions like Waikiki Melon. This candle is obviously well received by the majority of reviewers, and I think it is perhaps just me finding too much fusion and not enough distinguishable fruit essences. I believe I over-anticipated for orange notes, but this candle is exactly what it claims to be.....a fruity melange ( that appeals to a lot of YC users). For that reason I recommend it as being what it says it is. I have learned that in future I will stick to my usual method of buying a tart to preview before investing in larger sized candles.

Mmmmmm Citrus!
Smelling this candle will brighten your day and make you feel happy!
I get a predominately orange/citrus fragrance with an undertone of berries that smells so fresh, authentic, and alive.
Has a good throw and just adds a ray of sunshine to my living room, like a day at the Florida orange groves.
Sweet, fragrant, fresh-squeezed oranges, a little strawberry, and a twist 'o lime!
