Cracked on the first use
I absolutely love the look of this, unfortunately the glass is so thin it cracked on the first use (see attached photo with the first tart I melted). I tried to get it out afterwards and the glass shattered. I'd buy one that was made out of thicker glass because I really do love the style. I live 2 hours from the nearest store, so unfortunately couldn't return it.

I love this tart burner, however...
The first one that was sent to me was so wafer thin that it broke into little glass shards when I tried to take the used tart out of the burner. I put it in the freezer for 20 minutes just like I have always done with my other 3 tart burners. I did notice that the glass was extremely thin when I first got it, but thought that was just the way it was supposed to be. Even though I have another painted glass burner that had much thicker glass. I called Yankee, they were marvelous, and sent another one right out to me. I was excited when it came right away. This one shattered while I was trying to take it out of the packing. I called Yankee and again they were wonderful, sending out another one. They did ask if I wanted the same one. I did, because I thought maybe it was just a fluke that it happened again. The third one was a little thicker glass. When I went to put the tea light in the bottom it fell right out. I looked inside and instead of the bottom being concave, it was convex. That is why the tea light slide right out. Again, I called Yankee. Again, they were wonderful. This time, I picked another glass tart burner. The pretty daisy one. It came right away, and is perfect. I told the Yankee rep. that they should tell the manufacturer of the Florentine burners and let them know of the problems just one customer had. Would like to know if anyone else had this same problem. Yankee is a wonderful company. I have bought from them for well over 20 years.

Very elegant
I love this tart burner. I had one before but it broke. When i saw this again, I had to have another. It is very delicate and elegant. I just love it!
