Festival of Lights®
Love this scent
I have been purchasing "Festival of Lights" since it was first brought to market by Yankee Candle. I love the scent for Hanukah time, since it has that unique winter, but not over powering, scent. This candle in the large jar also makes a great gift.

White candles and twinkling lights...
I just discovered this candle at a YC store. I brought it home and loved it. The blue hue is a great alternative to the red and green of Christmas.
The fragrance is light/medium in intensity and has complex mixture of sweet spices that reminds me of The Limited edition Bright Copper Kettles.

Festival of Lights is my favorite scent. I am very sensitive to smells and get headaches from them. Festival of Lights does not bother me even when I have a migraine.

Fantastic Candle...Perhaps some others found a bad batch?
I am simply amazed at this candle. I actually bought it after the holiday season, and have used it nearly every day since. It is simply marvelous. I use it in a 15' x 20' room. The scent is immediately noticeable, but not overbearing. Gives off a very warm and cozy atmosphere. I may just stock up on these!

I purchased this candle to burn in my office (12' x 22'). I sit 6 feet from the candle. After burning the candle for three hours I can faintly smell it but cannot smell it across the room. Quite disappointing as when I opened the candle I loved the aroma.

It turned purple
I couldn't find it in my stash - was looking for a blue candle. Finally did, but it's purple! And the scent is barely there. Disappointed as this is a replacement for a Festival of Lights that tunneled. Not having much luck with this one.

Below is a copy of the text I sent in response to your email expressing "heartfelt thanks". Apparently you didn't receive it since you now ask me to rate the product. Here is my rating explanation:
"If this is really a heartfelt thanks, then there should be someone reading any response emails. I hope so. Because I have to tell you how incredibly disappointed I am with my Yankee candle, the one I splurged on, $25 for the candle, $15 to ship it, and the scent it produces is so faint as to be non-existent. I thought it was just me, maybe my sense of smell had deteriorated with age, but my son, my brother and my sister all agreed---a Walmart candle smells stronger. Yankee Candle's Festival of Lights scent filling my home has always meant Christmas to me, and was my only self-indulgence this year. For it to be a total waste of money I work so hard for...well, disappointed is too mild a word. I am heartbroken. Just so you know. I have pondered and pondered and I can't imagine why you would reduce the quality of your product; that makes no sense. I'm not a huge spender, but I was a a die-hard devotee. There must be others like me, and to lose them all will surely hurt your "bottom line", if that was your reasoning. I'd love to hear that your equipment malfunctioned temporarily and I was just unlucky...what say you?
Happy New Year,
