Excellent scent...doesn't burn as nicely as a jar
I purchased this fragrance for the first time at my local Yankee store during the Semi Annual Clearance Sale. Normally I gravitate to the jar candle versions in any fragrance as I feel they are a better value (longer estimated burn times, etc.) However, as they only had this fragrance available in the tumbler and it was such a great price I took the plunge and bought the last two in stock. I have to repeat what some other reviewers have mentioned, that the smell is very reminiscent of the Gingerbread fragrance--but with more depth to it. The throw is excellent as well.
The only downside is my original thought that the jar candles are a better buy has been reinforced by the fact that I have had nothing but trouble in trying to get these candles to burn evenly. At different times I have had to relight wicks on both candles, and I am meticulous about keeping the wicks trimmed properly. Will probably opt for the jar candle version of this scent in the future when it is available, but I will definitely be buying Celebrate Christmas again! I have enjoyed burning it even in these summer evenings because it has such a homey, welcoming spice to it!

I feel this scent is gingerbread with a little something extra
Very comparable to Gingerbread but I jokingly call this gingerbread on steroids it has more cinnamon more nutmeg more spice!
If you like gingerbread I feel you will love this candle.
It has a much stronger throw and it has that little something that makes it above and beyond what gingerbread is but they are very similar!!
I highly recommend thIs candle.

Fragrance is great
I really love his fragrance. I would have given the rating 5 stars, except that this is the second candle that I'm having trouble with the wick. The wick burns really slow and doesn't give a strong throw.I don't even have to cut the wick because it never burns fast enough. Please fix this problem. I feel like I'm wasting my money!

I am still on the fence with this one, but the more I smell it the more I like it. It would be perfect for a cold, snowy winter night. You can definitely smells orange, spice, cloves, cinnamon and a mix of some other stuff...maybe . slight hint of apple?? It seems like its ddifferent cold vs warm. Its a nice scent, and if you enjoy spice type candles its worth giving a try. I don't really see any relation to Christmas but either way, its a nice candle, with a good strong spicy throw.
