Not great
This wick trimmer could not cut new unburned wicks. It is acceptable with already burned wicks, but I still had issues with Pure Radiance wicks which are a bit thick. I bought a cheap one on Amazon for $3 that is better than this. I do not recommend even at half price. It's not worth my money to send it back.

I don't know what took me so long to order this wick trimmer. It's design is super, can reach into the deepest candles.

Excellent tool for candle use
This product is essential for the homes that burn candles on a regular basis. It is easy to use to clip the candle wick which ensures the safest burning possible.

A must have!!!
I avoided buying one of these for some time but finally bought one on sale a while back. These are necessary as your candles get low. I admit I was using scissors for a while. Scissors just don't reach down into the larger jars or pillars. Scissors also can't give you the even trim that the wick trimmer can since scissors clip at an angle. If you want to get your money's worth out of your candle, you can trim the wick easier and the lower wick gives you a cleaner burn. I bought two to keep close by nearby rooms so I would have it handy.
