so pretty!
I read reviews that said the holder was huge and the bottom was curved before I ordered this online. I was half expecting to get something two feet tall and a huge hump inside on the bottom. In reality the holder is a very pleasant size, with only about an inch of clearance around the sides of a large jar candle, and if you put a large jar inside with the lid on, you can just see the lid over the top of the holder. There is a small raised area on the bottom but the jar design seems to accomodate that very well. It's a beautiful deep ocean blue and is a very pretty punch of color for a room. I love it and am glad I purchased it.

Beautiful candle holder
When this came in th e mail I was so surprised, it was alot bigger than I thought it would be, its so much better. I ordered the two smaller holders to go beside it and it looks amazing. I just need to get a bigger candle for it, as I thought it would be smaller. I highly recommend ordering this, the color is vibrant.

very disapointed
I love the color and its huge but a large jar does not sit flat in it other sizes do but not large.

Perfect for 2 wicks
I like this color and it would be better if bottom wasn't curved, but I do love the way it hides the soot on the way the two wicks are burning now. If there is no soot there is a dirty glass look.

Too large
I purchased this candle jar holder and it IS beautiful, BUT it is much too large in diameter and much too tall. It takes up more space than is needed for a large jar candle. I, too, had to add decorative stones in the bottom to level the jar candle and also to raise the candle.

This jar holder is beautiful
The bottom is slightly curved, but as other reviewers pointed out, it can be shimmed with craft sand or small rocks or pebbles. I use it for a 5" diameter pillar and it's gorgeous, not to mention making it safer. I also have some floating candles I am going to try in it. The sides are a little thin, so it could break or chip easily, but if you are careful you can lessen the risk of breakage.
