Not worth the amount we pay for tarts! I have many favs depending on the day so I have many scents. After reading the many reviews on here, I thought sounds like I need to try this one...no thank you. There is no scent nor throw. I normally have my two elec warmers on all day and all night as I prepare for bed or starting my day and this one does nothing! The smell is too light to compare to any of my favs in this so called reviewed as a manly scent. I bought the tarts while they were on sale thankfully so i'm sure i'm stuck with the 8 I have left. I love the midnights, oasis combo day/night and my new fav is the Wakiki Melon for during the day as it is like being on vacation in an exotic relaxing place. Great for reading to or for entertaining-everyone loves the scent. Then I go to Wedding day at night from the wakiki melon. It is a nice transition to the white florals-like the transition from day open flowers to the scent left in the yard under your bedroom window in the evening. When entertaining the girls we all love the Midsummers Night and when entertaining for a mixed guest list, Wedding day is strong enough to just smell that incredible bouquet of all the best white flowers-just can't put your nose on it so they ask :) If your concerned about getting some bang for your couple of bucks per tart...save your money and go with what you know you love or hit a sale and hope you get lucky! Strong but light I can't take overpowering scents, Black Coconut is strong enough but still light enough that I don't get a migraine. I have to be careful about the scents I pick. This one is so pleasant it makes me feel like I am on vacation, very relaxing. Like a summer evening on the beach. May 18, 2013
Black Coconut-unique Unique, best describes this scent. I ordered this one online and decided to try it based on the description as well as the reviews. I'm so glad I did!! As another reviewer said it is a romantic scent. My husband liked it but said it was strong, which to me is great! The scent throw is strong and it scented through both of my living rooms and bedroom! I only wish I had bought more then just one! Will be getting more of these soon! May 11, 2013
Aroma is not strong Used several tarts in my YC warmer, and this one was a waste of $. The actual scent was awesome in the store (smelled a candle), so wanted to try the tart in my warmer. Melted in fine in the warmer, but the scent was not noticed unless i put my nose right up to the warmer. Even left my apartment for a minute and came back in and still could not notice it. This was after letting it melt and allow the fragrance to fill the room (few hours)...my favorite so far is the clean cotton. Have a bunch others to still try. May 6, 2013
Love the tart, not the large jar I bought the tart melt and loved it! Generally speaking, I find the tarts to release a storer scent than the jar candles.this was no exception. When I burned the jar, I couldn't smell anything at all! Which is disappointing given how much the tart smells up my house. But as for the tart, I love the woodsy yet sweet sent it has. Probably one of my favorite smells overall, just wish the jar smelled as good. April 27, 2013
Scent-sational coconut! The coconut in this scent is a little deeper than most... not so citrusy or sugary, which to me is a plus. It's a bit more musk-like, almost velvety smooth. Very romantic. My only wish is that the scent lasted a little longer. I can normally get two days worth of melting out of one tart, however this one started to wain the same day and had almost no throw the next. Wonderful scent, just not very long-lasting. April 24, 2013
Not so Coco-nuts This is not the tart for someone looking for an intense coconut throw. By the look of the label I was expecting a strong masculine coconut woodsy aroma. When I first started melting this tart, the fragrance was not strong at all and gave off a waxy licorice smell . I let it burn for a few hours and the throw became a bit stronger, but it wasn't by far as intense as Yankee Candle wax tarts usually are. There is very little coconut smell with no sweetness to it. The cedar gave off waxy musky scent. I took a sniff up close and the tart just smells like melting wax. If the whole fragrance was stronger it might smell better. I will try another one in hopes this tart was a dud, but so far this is not one of my favorites. April 19, 2013
Like A Beach This is definitely a beach smell. I am not big on floral scents but love coconut. It does smell like coconut with floral. To cut the floral notes I add a Coconut Bay tart with it to enhance the coconut scent. It works for me. The combination of the two also fills a large room - on it's own it would not be quite as strong. April 16, 2013
