Great deal
This is a great combination and bargain. 2 med jars for less than $20 is a winner in my book. Beautiful day smells fresh like being outdoors and Sweet violet smells like sweet flowers.

Sweet Violet is Pink Lady Slipper
Beautiful Day is awesome!! However, the sweet violet is actually pink lady slipper wax. I first noticed that it didn't smell anything like the description of sweet violet. Then I noticed that sweet violet is purple and this was pink. Finally I talked to someone who had owned a sweet violet in the past and they confirmed this was not it. It was finally identified as pink lady slipper.

Don't love
I bought these because of reviews for Beautiful Day. I have not lit that one yet but have lit Sweet Violet...not my favorite....doesn't have a strong scent and what I can smell, smells more like baby powder.

Very light scent.
This candle burned all the way down within three hours, pretty sure it was supposed to last longer. Scent was very faint, almost non-existent. Guess that will teach me to stray from the scents I know are amazing.

"Beautiful" Scent!
Beautiful Day is actually one of my favorite scents from YC! I was so happy to see this giftset! I purchased this without ever smelling the Sweet Violet candle and I am glad I did! If you have ever smelled the Sugared Flower Petals scent from the Spoonful of Sugar line, they smell very similar if not, identical. It is a light, sweet, refreshing floral scent!
I have a garden in my backyard and lots of windows in my kitchen over looking it. I almost always have a beautiful day candle burning on my counter and it brings my garden indoors! To me, this candle has the best balance of any floral candle out there! It has a nice floral scent, not too sweet or overpowering. I wish YC would bring this candle back for good!

bit weak, but great fragrant.
The beautiful day smells a bit like a classy soap and Sweet Violet smells like the pink lady slippers. Since the fragrants are both so good I was hoping to smell more of it, but it's too weak that I can't really smell any of it until I stick my nose on the candle.
But it's great value and I'd preffer a weak fragragnt from a strong and off-putting one.
