This Is One of My Favorite Scents of All Time
I loved this scent the moment I picked it up in the store. It was amazing on cold stiff and even better when lit. The wood notes and the salt are unbelievable in this scent. The throw is a little lighter than I prefer and the first tumbler I bought had a burn issue where one of the wicks flared up and burned down deep into the candle and created a channel that filled up with wax so it couldn't be re-lit. But a quick trip to the store and a dose of Yankee's famously wonderful customer service and it was quickly replaced and all was right with the world again. I actually love this scent so much that I find myself grabbing it off the shelf and opening it up for a quick sniff when I'm just passing by and have no plans to light it.

Smells good unlit
This is yet another scent that fails to scent a room. It smells good in the jar, but the scent does not distribute when lit.

Great scent pulls Houdini act
I bought this candle because I really enjoyed the smell of it at the store. I was excited to try it out, and today, I finally got around to it. I am extremely disappointed in the fact that there is barely a smell coming from the candle.
It has been burning for about an hour and there literally is just a hint of the smell, and you only get that when you put your face 6 inches in front of the candle.
I'm very disappointed, and I actually signed up so I can write this review. The candle smells great, but like others have said, the scent does transfer over to when you start using it.

Love the scent from the jar...but no throw
I have been looking for an alternative to my favorite Fireside scent since it's no longer available. I hoped that Beach Wood would be a nice replacement since it has a warm, woodsy scent from the jar. I bought a large tumbler yesterday and burned it for about three hours but it had zero throw. I lit it again this afternoon (just to be certain) but I still can't smell it, even though I'm sitting three feet away from it.
I would love to recommend Beach Wood because it is a great scent but I'm disappointed.

This Candle has an interesting blend of scents.
I wasn't sure if I would like this candle just by smelling it in the store, but my daughter had bought one and once I smelled it as it was burning, I knew I had to buy one. It has a bit of a warm musk scent so I think it is one of those candles you can use year round.

Beach Wood Candle smells wonderful
Beach Wood is my favorite scent from Yankee Candle and it being on sale just made me like it even more.

Great scent, zero throw
I was very excited for this fragrance but was sorely disappointed when burning produced virtually no throw. Cold sniff is crisp and fresh, warm if a little perfumey. I don't get much wood scent, but certainly this is reminiscent of summer and the beach. I have tried this in a medium-sized bathroom and a small hallway. It's better in the latter but I can only smell the fragrance while standing in the immediate vicinity.

Basically driftwood scent, but very light...
I really like the scent, but I cant detect vetiver in it, just driftwood. It smells the same as a clothes/perfumes/design brand that also offer candles that come in baby color ceramic vases...this specific scent in light cream ceramic vase candle...if you know which Im talking about:)
Beachwood is one of YC that totally works as unisex scent.
I got the two wick tumbler only because knowing this one is a very light scent it would form a pool of wax quickly to release more scent, but even in the two wick form it is still for a small area.
The problem Im having though (second burn of aver 4 hrs each) is the the melted wax becomes light green when hardened...so it looks like those double scented candles with two colors wax.
Is that normal for this scent or I got a weird one? :)...
