Walking in the Woods!
Just love the scent of this one! It fills the house with a wonderful woodland, Christmas tree scent. This one can easily be burned all year long, but it is absolutely great in the fall and winter months. I almost bought this a few years ago and passed. A few weeks later I walked into my daughter's home in MD for a visit from IL and she had this candle burning. The fragrance filled the house and you smelled it the moment you walked in. I was hooked & I went out and bought it. It's so popular in my family that I buy several for Xmas gifts and myself every year!
This one burns a little faster than the large jar candle but seems to give off a bit more scent. Either way, this one is a staple!

This fel in rhw winter months is so great
Maybe its because the smell reminds me of Christmas trees or maybe its winter ansd the smell seems just right. Many of my friends and daughter get gifts of Balsam Cedar from me.

Not recommended
I bought 2 of these because of the good reviews. Very disappointed. Absolutely no fragrance whatsoever after burning for 2 hours 2 different times.

Pine fresh
The balsam & cedar is one of the best and most reliable Yankee Candles out there. It is perfect during the winter when you crave that outdoorsy fresh pine tree fragrance. The candle is the same color as a dark evergreen tree. My one issue is that this particular candle doesn't last as long as the other ones we buy that are the same size.

This product has a wonderful pine scent.
I have a large living room and dinning area with cathedral ceilings and I burned 2 of the "Balsam and Ceder" large 2-wicked candles and the whole area had this wonderful outdoor woodsy pine scent. It was great for Christmas as I have an artficial tree and the scent was just what I needed for that live tree smell.

Wax formula changed?
Balsam & Cedar is, by far and away, the best and most realistic fragrance you have! It works for any time of the year, and best during the winter.
I have had many of these (jar w/ double wicks), but the most recent purchases seem to be a different type of wax...they don't last as long, and are very smokey. I am disappointed in the quality, but the fragrance is still great.

My go-to scent
This is my favorite scent. I have to stock up in the winter as I like to burn it year round and they stop carrying it in the stores. Sometimes the store can order it for me and ship it to my house for free. Sometimes online and the store are out. I love the 2 wicks with less carbon build up. I don't buy the jars anymore because of this. I have a parrot and the soot bothers me cuz it is bad for her, and it looks gross. This is a strong, natural scent. I smoke in my room and it kills the smoke stench and makes everything smell wonderful. I am never without this scent. When it gets really low and I can't light it anymore I melt it on the warming plate and it works just as good. I even pour all the wax from many candles into a YC jar, add a new wick from the craft store and I have a new candle. This way I use every drop of this wonderful fragrance.
