awesome product!!!!
the soft crackling sound is very soothing but the smell was absolutely fantastic!!
It burns a lot longer than the regular large candle and the appearance of the glass container gives this candle a look of elegance!

Hit and miss
Its a really beautiful candle, with an awesome throw, great quality, and it comes in a *beautiful* glass kind of wood grain jar, which, by the way, is impressive in size... I just dont like the smell. It smells like cologne - Its definitely a man scent, which I dont care for, I guess I was hoping for a more earthy smell, this is too cologne-y, but it will look nice in my bedroom nonetheless because it matches the decor...I'll just keep the lid on.

Almost Midsummer Night in Pure Radiance form!
My husband & I love YC Midsummer Night, so this was a no-brainer for us to add to our now expansive collection of candles. (Seriously bordering an addiction here!)
Had an event at the YC store a few weeks ago and wanted to pick up a few of the newer tropical scents in the Housewarmer jars. Needless to say, several different variations of candles came home with us, including three of this one!
I adore the LumiWick candles and thankfully have not been disappointed by the sound or scent! So far, the throw on this one has been amazing and the sound equally amazing!
We definitely recommend this one!

Beautiful Scent!
I really enjoy this scent very much, and I would have given it 5 stars, but the crackling sound is very limited, hardly at all. In addition, the wick is terrible because the flame begins to lower after the candle has been burning for awhile. I recommend After Dark with a regular wick, since it is a beautiful scent!

I previously reviewed Stargaze
and gave it a bad review because it was weak on scent and said I would never purchase another yankee candle. But I decided to give them another chance and purchesed both the Emberlight and After Dark candles. They work great! The scent of After Dark is lovely and much stronger than I expected after having dealt with Stargaze. I definitely recommend this candle, and am glad I gave them another try.

Not up to Yankee's usual standards
I purchased this new candle because of the crackling wick feature but was very disappointed. A friend gave me a Woodwick flickering candle and I love the sound (and fragrance), but because all of my other regular/scented candles are Yankee, I was very excited when Yankee came out with the flickering type too. However, there's no comparison - Woodwick wins hands down on this one. The Yankee version's crackling sound is barely audible, and the fragrance isn't as strong or appealing for some reason. I have the same fragrance (After Dark) in a regular Yankee candle and it smells great, but it doesn't smell the same in the crackling wick version. I will continue to buy Yankee's Jar Candles, but when I want a crackling wick, I'll have to go with Woodwick.
